The Contact Centre is a busy hub within head office where our advisors handle all enquiries from new and existing sales through to customer service. Advisors focus on increasing our feedstocks to maximise input to our processing plant.

Our Finance team prepare and create financial accounts, maintain financial records, plan internal financial information, analyse current financial performance and pay creditors and employee salaries.

The TWM advisors manage a small network of sub-contractors to carry out services that Slicker are not equipped or licensed to perform in-house. Our advisors monitor supplier performance to ensure that high levels of service are consistently met.

Our Sales Co-ordinators and Account Managers look after our large commercial and key accounts customers by maintaining strong working relationships, enabling us to retain and grow our business and increase efficiencies.

We have a centralised logistics department managing the largest and most modern transport fleet of compliant vehicles in the industry, comprising of over 100 specialist vehicles. This includes oil collection vehicles, garage waste service trucks, articulated trailers and front-line interceptor vehicles.

Several years of research and development by our Lab Chemists has enabled us to produce environmentally cost-effective virgin fossil fuel alternatives. It is our mission to be innovative and lead the way in the re-refining used oil and the recycling of other wastes we collect to avoid landfill.

The waste oil we collect is treated using our own proprietary technology processes at the Slicker refinery plants. Our Plant Operatives are responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of the plant to enable us to continue producing an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to virgin fossil fuels.

From your very first day at Slicker Recycling, your induction will help you to better understand the requirements of your role, the team you will be working with, and the important part you will play in our business.
To help you settle in as quickly as possible you will have regular monthly catch ups with your manager as part of your structured probation period and they will be always be on hand if you need anything.
If professional membership or training is required we will support you financially to help you to maintain or develop further into your chosen career.
