Having joined us as a temporary colleague Aimee, a recent graduate from The University of Birmingham, is now completing her training in the laboratory to get signed off as a permanent chemist where she will play a key role in analysing the quality of the waste oil being collected from our customers, as well as the quality of the processed fuel oil which we produce for onward sale.

The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

  • Achieve cash collection and overdue debtors targets by monitoring and chasing overdue customer accounts in accordance to agreed terms
  • Maintaining clear communications with Commercial Account Mangers, providing direction and support where required to manage and minimise debt
  • Ensure emails are actioned in a timely manner and customer account information is accurate and regularly updated

  • Working with the Operation’s manager to plan and undertake operational tasks on the site including the receipt, testing, offloading, storage, treatment and recording of various wastes including oil and packages wastes

  • Ensure that wastes are only stored in the correct areas and in accordance with site operational procedures and permitted activities
